Haven is an urban sanctuary where the experience begins the moment you walk through the door. More than just a studio, our space comforts you - before, during, and after each class. Our infrared-heated classes - ranging from 26 to 36°C - are designed to challenge and energize both body and mind, while engaging all your senses. With panoramic views of water and greenery, the space offers a grounded contrast to the pace of city life. A safe haven, a place to carve out a moment for yourself.
The interior is a blend of modern and mid-century design, thoughtfully curated with references to art and contemporary culture. Every piece was chosen with care to create a space that feels intentional, warm, and inviting. Expect good music, a tea bar to unwind after class, and outdoor spots to catch your breath. Haven is built to bring people together. We prioritize quality, community, and alignment so you can work on feeling your best.


Infrared
An infrared radiant heating system heats our workout sessions, warming your body from within, similar to the warmth you feel from the sun. Unlike traditional heating, infrared light doesn’t heat the air in the studio, it directly raises your core body temperature. It is safe, natural, and non-invasive. As the warmth seeps into the deep layers of your skin, it creates the ideal environment for detoxification and healing.

Hot Slow flow
Think of it as meditation in motion, a practice that brings you back to your body, your breath, and the present moment. This breath-led, mindful movement class invites you to slow down and tune in. Moving at a steady, intentional pace, it’s ideal for beginners looking to build strength and confidence in foundational poses. More advanced practitioners can take on deeper variations to add extra challenge and precision.
Hot Flow
Flow is an energizing vinyasa yoga class that connects breath to movement, exploring various techniques designed to stretch, strengthen, and awaken your body. The warmth helps you go deeper into each pose while the flow of breath keeps you centered. Prepare to challenge your body, sharpen your mind, and leave feeling balanced and energized. Hot Power Flow
Power Flow is a dynamic vinyasa class that lets you focus on building strength, flexibility, and endurance. This high-intensity class features dynamic sequences designed to push your limits. The heat helps you deepen each pose, building strength and stability in your core while improving flexibility. Heated class, all levels welcome.
Hot Core Flow
Prepare to push your limits, this high-energy vinyasa class focuses on core strength and control. Expect dynamic, breath-led sequences designed to activate deep abdominal muscles, building strength, stability, and endurance. A class that challenges your center and leaves you feeling strong and anchored. Heated class, all levels welcome.
Hot Yin Yang
Balance effort and ease in this dynamic-meets-stillness practice. This class begins with an energizing Yang-style vinyasa flow to build heat, strength, and focus—then transitions into grounding Yin postures held for several minutes to open the deeper layers of the body. The combination of movement and stillness offers a complete reset for body and mind. Expect to feel both revitalized and deeply relaxed. Heated class, all levels welcome.
Hot Ocean Flow
Inspired by the ocean, guided by the waves. Whether you’re a surfer or someone who loves to move with freedom, this vinyasa-based ocean flow is designed to help you reconnect with our fluid and rhythmic nature. Dive into a continuous flow that artfully combines soft expansive movements with strong functional patterns. Through creative transitions and intuitive movement, this class transforms into a moving meditation—celebrating the journey over the destination. Hot Friday Flow
Ignite your weekend energy. This dynamic Vinyasa class (32°C) builds strength, heat, and flow to release the stress of the week. Expect powerful sequences, deep breaths, and uplifting music to move you into a grounded, glowing state. A fiery practice to sweat, reset, and step into your weekend feeling strong and clear.
Hot Yin
In this class (28°C), you’ll step into stillness and deep relaxation while you move through gentle Yin poses. At HAVEN, our Yin sessions come in different forms. Some are enriched with gentle hands-on massage from the teacher (Soothing Yin & Massage) to help you soften deeper into each pose. Others are accompanied by the healing vibration of singing bowls and live sound to carry you into deeper release (Yin, Sound & Massage). And some weave in the ritual of aromatherapy (Yin & Aroma Rituals), with scented oils and fragrant air that engage your senses and deepen the experience.

With a contemporary approach to Pilates, this class focuses on alignment, breath, and controlled movements. It’s a challenging, low-impact session designed to build core strength and improve posture. You’ll flow through sequences that leave you feeling stronger, more aligned, and connected to your body. Heated class, all levels welcome..
Hot Pilates Strong
Pilates Strong is a powerful, results-driven class that combines the precision of Pilates with the intensity of strength training. You’ll work with heavier weights than in Pilates Sculpt, focusing on controlled, slower movements with higher repetitions in a heated room. The goal: building real muscle strength and definition while staying rooted in the mindful flow of Pilates. Expect a full-body workout that challenges you to push further, tone deeper, and leave feeling both empowered and balanced.
Hot Pilates Sculpt
Sculpt is an energizing, full-body workout that combines interval training with muscle-building strength exercises. Targeting every muscle group, this high-intensity class includes lots of upper body work, core activation, and weighted exercises. You’ll leave this class feeling grounded, sculpted, and confident in your body’s power. Heated class, all levels welcome.
Hot Booty & Abs
Lift, tone & burn. A high-energy class designed to sculpt your booty and strengthen your core, all in the warmth of our hot studio. Expect upbeat music, fiery sequences, and that addictive HAVEN glow after class. You’ll work with bands, weights and body resistance to activate deep core muscles and shape your lower body. This class will leave you feeling strong, empowered and fully alive. Suitable for all levels. Bring a towel and water.
FAQs
It’s my first time! How should I prepare for class?
We recommend arriving 15 minutes early so you have time to check in, get settled, and get a feel for the space. We’re happy to give you a full tour of the studio. We provide mats and all necessary props. Bring clothes you’re comfortable moving and sweating in, a water bottle, and a towel (or rent one at the studio). Lockers are available for your belongings.
Are all classes open to all levels?
Yes. All classes are open level and designed to be adaptable. Whether new or experienced, you're welcome to move at your own pace. If it's your first time doing Yoga or Pilates, we encourage you to let the teacher know before class so they can offer extra guidance and make sure you feel comfortable from the very first pose.
Why are the classes heated? What are the benefits?
Our classes are infrared-heated, with temperatures ranging from 26 to 36°C, depending on the class. The warmth helps you move deeper into poses, builds endurance, boosts circulation, and supports flexibility. It raises your heart rate in a steady, safe way, making the practice both challenging and energizing. And yes, it feels really, really good.
I'm pregnant. Can I attend a heated class?
We strongly advise against attending heated classes during your first trimester. In your second and third trimesters, it may be possible – but only if you have received approval from your doctor or midwife, and you already have prior experience with movement and exercise. Your safety and your baby's wellbeing always come first. If you have any questions, our team is happy to chat through the options with you.
Do I need to book a class in advance?
We recommend booking your class in advance, spots can fill up quickly. You can sign up through our website or via ClassPass. Our app is coming soon. Waitlists are available, and you're always welcome to stop by and check for last-minute openings.
The website says I already have an account. What's going on?
No worries, this is a common one! Our booking system is shared across multiple studios in Amsterdam, so if you've ever booked a class elsewhere, you may already have an account. Simply click "Forgot password," enter your email, and you'll be good to go. See you on the mat!
Where can I park?
You can park directly on the Nieuwendammerkade. There is limited, paid parking on a first come, first served basis.
If I arrive late, can I still enter class?
We start on time to respect the flow of the class and everyone in it. Once the door is closed, late entry isn’t possible, but we’ll do our best to get you into the next available class.
What if I need to leave mid-class?
We encourage you to stay on your mat for the full class, it gives your body the chance to adjust to the heat and stay connected to the flow. That said, if you do need to step out, please do so quietly and mindfully. For the sake of the group and the rhythm of the class, we ask that you don’t re-enter once you’ve left the room.
Can I store my belongings safely?
Yes, lockers are available to keep your things safe while you’re on the mat.
Do you have bathrooms & showers?
Yes. We have three all-gender bathrooms and one all-gender shower available for use.
Do you accept cash?
We’re a cashless studio.
Wait... can I really buy bread at a hot yoga and pilates studio?
You sure can! Every Saturday we sell fresh sourdough bread from Kneedwerk buurtbakker, our lovely neighbour from Nieuwendammerdijk. Each loaf is 600g and costs just €5 – Scan the QR code, pay easily via Tikkie. Every single cent goes directly to Gerrald from Kneedwerk. Good bread, good karma.
What is your cancellation policy?
HAVEN Members & Class Card holders can cancel up to 2 hours before class at no charge. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before class, or no-shows, will result in a €10 fee. Booked through ClassPass? ClassPass requires cancellations at least 12 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a €12.50 credit charge. Please make sure to manage any changes directly through the ClassPass app, and refer to their terms and conditions for full details.
What is your refund policy?
All class credits, packages, and memberships are non-refundable. We appreciate your understanding.
Can I pause my membership?
Yes, you can freeze your membership up to twice a year for a total of 60 days. Each freeze must be a minimum of 14 days, and we ask that you give us at least 6 days’ notice so your account isn’t automatically charged. To request a freeze, just email us at contact@havenyoga.nl.
Does my class package expire?
Memberships do not expire as long as they’re active. Each pack has its timeline: • 3 Class Intro Pack: valid for 15 days • 10 Class Pack: valid for 3 months • Single Class: valid for 1 month
